The Bristlenose are a good algae eater for the aquarium and make a better choice than the common Plecs.
These fish will also feed on sinking algae wafers. The male fish develops bristles on the front of their heads giving them their name. From South America Size upto 6ins.
Do not keep in tanks less than 36ins/90ltrs/20galsTemp range 24-28 dgs C. These fish have been known to breed in the community aquarium.
